Job summary

Deploja-Ab is seeking a consultant with strong Kotlin/Java skills to join our Sweden-based consulting practice. You will work on client projects or internal assignments, delivering distributed systems and microservices with modern cloud tooling.

Applicants should have hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Kubernetes, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway) and be comfortable with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Quarkus and Gradle is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS (or Kubernetes), ElastiCache (or Redis/Valkey), Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as container technologies such as Docker and ECS/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation or Terraform.

Job description

We now have a new requirement and are looking for a consultant colleague with the qualifications listed below. The position is part of our consulting business, which means you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments.

As part of your application, you may be presented to clients/partners as part of the recruitment process. If selected for the assignment, you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments as part of our consulting business.

Your Profile (Must-have requirements)

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.


• Experience with Quarkus and Gradle is a plus.


• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS (or Kubernetes), ElastiCache (or Redis/Valkey), Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.


• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures. Experience of building applications using layered/clean architecture is a plus.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, as well as container technologies such as Docker and ECS/Kubernetes.


• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK,


• CloudFormation or Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Experience of Big Data tools such as Databricks is a plus.
