Job summary

SAS Link is seeking a Compliance & Safety Engineer to develop, administer and maintain effective safety and compliance management systems in line with CAMO.A.305 and SAS’s safety commitments. You will report to the SAS Link NPCA and Technical Director and work with our Scandinavian fleet operations.

You will coordinate hazard identification, risk management, audits, training, and continuous improvement of safety processes across CAMO and AOC operations.

Qualifications

• Experience applying aviation maintenance standards and safe operating practices.
• Regulations: Part M, CAMO, Part 145, IDE.A, Part 26.
• Familiar with AOC Compliance Monitoring and Safety systems.
• 3 years relevant work experience in the subject or similar role.
• EASA Part 66 Licence or aeronautical degree.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods and regulations.
• English language competence; MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of E1/E2 is a plus; AMOS Basic knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessment and management.
• Maintain the CAMO Hazard register.
• Monitor implementation of actions to mitigate risks from safety action plan.
• Coordinate Safety Action Group meetings; manage materials and actions.
• Ensure training is available and meets standards.
• Review SMS and HF feedback and update training syllabus.
• Provide advice on safety matters.
• Oversee occurrence investigations, mitigations and compliance findings.
• Coordinate audit preparations with external and internal auditors.
