Job summary

Katla Aero AB in Sweden seeks a flight mechanic to join our development team. You will fabricate and assemble prototypes and production units, working closely with engineering and production to ensure designs are manufacturable and compliant with aviation standards.

The role includes creating assembly methods and instructions, supporting both unmanned and manned systems from early prototypes to final product, and contributing to repair procedures and maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of related work experience.
• Cat B1 or B2 is meritorious.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble, prototypes as well as production units.
• Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and follow aviation standards.
• Assemble everything from small test articles to advanced full size prototypes.
• Create assembly methods and instructions based upon aviation standard practices.
