Job summary

Kognic AB is seeking a Data Specialist to sit at the technical core of our account teams, translating complex model requirements into annotation specifications for hundreds of annotators. You will own data quality, workflow design, and customer onboarding across AD/ADAS perception systems.

As part of a hybrid remote setup with weekly Gothenburg Office presence, you will collaborate with engineering, delivery, and account teams to ensure scalable, high-quality data solutions and strong customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Automotive Engineering, Machine Learning, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles (demos, analyzing complex data requirements, and driving technical solutions).
• Deep experience in data quality or related fields, with a strong focus on AD/ADAS perception systems, sensor modalities, dataset design, and how annotated data impacts model training and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical setup of customer projects, acting as the primary authority on data quality, workflow design, and annotation requirements.
• Influence clients on how system safety objectives and KPIs translate into annotation context, quality benchmarks, and dataset designs.
• Serve as a technical bridge between customers, internal engineering teams, and delivery managers to address data challenges.
• Design and refine the quality assurance approach for accounts, balancing quality and productivity.
