Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Qualitäts Assurance/Test Engineer to join a team focused on camera systems in automotive applications. The role involves executing automated and manual tests, developing test scripts, and ensuring quality across hardware and software components.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, analyze results, and help drive defect resolution while maintaining thorough documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ preferred.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and image processing.
• Experience 2–5 years in automotive or related industries is beneficial.
• Past client experience is preferred; specify duration and manager.

Responsibilities

• Execute automated and manual tests across rigs and vehicles; analyze results and identify defects in camera systems.
• Define testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports.
• Develop and implement automated test scripts and frameworks; build camera system test rigs.
• Ensure camera systems meet quality and safety standards; participate in reviews.
