ALTEN Sweden is seeking an experienced Automotive Project Manager for consultancy roles based in Gothenburg. You will manage interior/exterior component projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive projects from scope to delivery in a dynamic automotive environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Engineering degree with proven PM experience in the automotive sector, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in automotive project management.
• Strong PM methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Experience with automotive OEMs and suppliers, especially Volvo Group / Volvo Cars.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

As an Automotive Project Manager at ALTEN, you will be responsible for managing projects related to interior and/or exterior components within the automotive industry.

Your main tasks will include:

• Leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
• Facilitating communication and collaboration between different departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including ALTEN's current customers such as Volvo Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management within the automotive industry, preferably in Interior/Exterior/BIW or other related domains.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs and suppliers, particularly with Volvo Group / Volvo Cars, is highly meritorious.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
