Job summary
L&T Technology Services is seeking a Network Ethernet Hardware Engineer to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will apply deep expertise in Automotive Ethernet, IEEE 802.3 standards, and high-speed PHY/MAC interfaces to deliver robust hardware solutions.
The role involves lab debugging, hardware bring-up, board validation, and use of tools like Wireshark to analyze packets. Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, and experience with GitLab/Git/Jenkins are essential.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Automotive Ethernet and IEEE 802.3 standards.
- Experience with PHY/MAC interfaces, SerDes and signal integrity.
- Advanced oscilloscope usage for high-speed measurements and decoding.
- Hands-on lab debugging and hardware validation.
- Packet/frame analysis using Wireshark.
- Understanding of switch architectures (VLANs, QoS, TSN).
- Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS and low-level drivers.
- Hardware bring-up and board validation.
- Knowledge of automotive Ethernet L2/L3 protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, SOME/IP).
- Knowledge of build pipelines using GitLab/Git/Jenkins.
- Hands-on programming in Python and C/C++.
