Automotive Embedded Software Verification Engineer
Accenture is hiring an Automotive Embedded Software Verification Engineer to strengthen our automotive team in Gothenburg.
What You'll Do
- Write and maintain automated test cases using a Pytest based framework.
- Perform testing across components, integration and system levels.
- Execute and debug tests in SiL, HiL and ViL environments.
- Analyze test results, logs and measurement data to identify defects.
- Debug issues in collaboration with SW developers.
- Maintain test data, configurations and parameterization.
- As on-site customer interface, serve as on-site technical liaison; support integration, verification and vehicle testing at customer facilities.
- Facilitate rapid issue identification, debugging and resolution; communicate feedback to development teams.
- Provide hands‑on support for software flashing, configuration, milestone reviews and technical workshops.
Qualification
- 5 or more years in embedded software, including experience in testing embedded software (SIL, HIL, ViL), customer‑facing roles.
- C++ proficiency.
- Expertise in Pytest and Python‑based test automation.
- Understanding of embedded systems and ECU architecture.
- CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions.
- Experience with debugging tools and log/trace analysis.
- Testing experience in one or more: CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols, Diagnostics, OBD, Security, Functional Safety.
- Strong SOC/MCU software integration knowledge.
- Good communication skills; fluent English.
Nice if you have also some of these skills
- Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Familiarity with automotive development processes (ASPICE, AUTOSAR).
- Additional scripting/automation skills (Bash, etc.).
