Job summary

ALTEN in Gothenburg is seeking an experienced System Verification Engineer to verify and test vehicle connectivity systems, both onboard and offboard, ensuring robustness ahead of release.

You will perform hands-on diagnostics and fault tracing in rigs and vehicles, develop and run test cases, and report results, collaborating with workshops, service organizations, and internal teams to improve verification processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system verification within automotive environments.
• Experience from verification in vehicles or system rigs (manual testing).
• Experience from working with connectivity.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing.
• Familiarity with requirement and system tools such as SystemWeaver.
• Experience with Vector tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe).
• Very good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing in rigs and vehicles
• Execute end-to-end testing of onboard and offboard connectivity solutions
• Develop, execute, and report test cases on system and vehicle level
• Verify functionality according to requirements and quality targets
• Secure quality and readiness before release
• Contribute to continuous improvements of test methods and processes
