Overview

The Department of Management and Marketing at the Faculty of Business Administration invites applications for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor in Management with specializations in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

FBA is one of the largest faculties in the University and a well-established full-service business faculty with AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditations. It bridges academic education with real-world practice and engages with industry and professional bodies to support the development of Macao and the region.

About FBA and Programs

FBA offers education in traditional and emerging subjects of business and management, including Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, Information Systems and Management, Marketing, General Management, and specialised areas. Programs are delivered at Undergraduate, Postgraduate, PhD, MBA, EMBA, DBA and Executive Education levels. The faculty encourages cross-disciplinary teaching, learning and research to enhance innovation and career development.

Responsibilities and research focus

Faculty members in Management have published in top journals. The Department aims to build a strong team of Strategic Management scholars in the coming years. The Department provides strong research support including start-up funds, reasonable teaching load, and access to facilities. The selected candidate will contribute to teaching and research in Management with emphasis on Strategy and Entrepreneurship and participate in the Department’s research activities and doctoral program.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have obtained a PhD in Strategy, Entrepreneurship or closely related fields (or be near completion).
• Demonstrate evidence of ability or potential to conduct impactful research and publish in top-tier journals in Management and related fields.
• Commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For Associate Professor, a well-established track record of research excellence, leadership in significant research endeavors, and mentoring junior researchers; involvement in university and community service is expected.

Appointment and Remuneration

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2026, or at another time subject to mutual agreement. Remuneration will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The package includes on-campus accommodation or housing allowance, medical insurance, provident fund, and other subsidies.
