Responsibilities
  • Conduct research activities in the context of Intelligent Asset Management of multi-purpose Li-Ion/S batteries, Prognostics and Health Management (PHM), Remaining Useful Life (RUL) estimation, eMaintenance, and Industrial AI.
  • Assist the teaching, with a focus on Battery Lifecycle Management, Intelligent Asset Management, Maintenance, Industrial AI, eMaintenance, and Digital Twin.
  • Dissemination of research findings through publication in scientific journals and conferences.
  • Implementation and participation in research projects on Battery Lifecycle Management, Industrial AI, eMaintenance, and digital twins.
  • Work in the Battery LAB and eMaintenance LAB.
  • Contribution to the further development of our technology platform ‘AI Factory’.
  • Contribution to the organisation of the subject’s International Congress on Industrial AI and eMaintenance.
  • Support to the researchers and PhDs in the research team.
  • Implementation and participation in various research projects with a specific focus on battery lifecycle management, Engineering Asset Management, Industrial AI, eMaintenance and Digital Twin.
  • Development and design of applications and end-to-end demonstrators.
  • Integration of technology into AI Factory's edge/fog/cloud platform.
  • Development of software AI Factory's various services.
Qualifications
  • To meet the requirements for the appointment as associate senior lecturer, the applicant: must have been awarded a doctoral degree or must have a foreign degree considered equivalent to a doctoral degree.
  • Primary consideration should be given to someone who has been awarded a doctoral degree within five years of the application deadline for employment as an associate senior lecturer. However, someone who has been awarded a doctoral degree or achieved corresponding competence at an earlier date may also be considered if there are special grounds. Special grounds are sick leave, parental leave or other similar circumstances.

  • Doctor of Technology in Operation and Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in knowledge transfer between universities and industry
  • Experience in development in an integrated cloud and IoT environment
  • Experience in developing methods, technologies, and tools aimed at battery lifecycle management, engineering asset management, operation, and maintenance in industrial contexts
