Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Architectural Engineer/Architectural Technologist to own on-site architectural coordination for a flagship European data centre project. You will ensure walls, façades, doors, fire-stopping, and interfaces with MEP/CSA systems work together and meet standards.

You will review drawings and submittals, manage RFIs, collaborate with CSA, MEP, QA/QC and design teams, monitor progress and quality, and support compliant handover for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating architecture on large construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building envelope systems, finishes, and detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP/CSA drawings.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and EU construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site architectural coordination for walls, façades, doors, finishes, and interfaces with MEP/CSA systems.
• Review drawings, models, and submittals for accuracy and buildability.
• Manage architectural RFIs and close out design queries before they hit site.
• Collaborate with CSA, MEP, QA/QC, and design teams to avoid clashes and rework.
• Monitor progress and quality of architectural installations.
• Support compliance with fire regulations, acoustic requirements, thermal details, and client specifications.
• Help deliver a coordinated handover package for commissioning and close-out.
