Benifex is seeking an Application Configuration Specialist/Content Developer in Sweden to build and maintain employee benefits and customised pages within the Benifex platform. The role blends HTML/JavaScript configuration with customer interaction, turning requirements into practical solutions.

The position is fixed-term until September 2027, offering a hybrid working model and exposure to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript from education or experience.
• Interest in configuring a SaaS platform and web development basics.
• Fluency in Swedish and ability to communicate with customers.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in role combining technology, configuration, troubleshooting and customer interaction, not pure development.

Role Overview

This is a fixed-term contract until September 2027 and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical skills in a customer-facing environment. As an Application Configuration Specialist/Content Developer, you will build and maintain employee benefits and customised pages within the Benifex platform. The role combines application configuration with basic coding, making it ideal for someone who enjoys technology and problem-solving but is not seeking a purely software development career path. Working with customers, partners and internal teams, you will translate requirements into engaging and effective solutions that deliver a strong user experience. You will gradually build expertise in our platform while taking increasing ownership of projects and customer deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and maintain employee benefits and customised pages within the Benifex platform.

• Translate customer requirements into effective solutions, ensuring both technical quality and a positive end-user experience.

• Deliver new configurations, enhancements and troubleshooting activities across customer and partner projects.

• Gather requirements and collaborate with customers to clarify needs and provide support.

• Work closely with project managers and colleagues across Content, Configuration and Integration teams to deliver successful outcomes.

• Contribute to continuous improvements in team processes, ways of working and customer delivery.

What are we looking for?

• Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, gained through education, internships or professional experience.

• An understanding of web development and an interest in applying technical skills within a configurable SaaS platform.

• Fluency in Swedish and confidence communicating with customers and stakeholders.

• A customer-focused mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and take ownership of tasks and deadlines.

• Curiosity, initiative and a problem-solving approach, with a genuine desire to learn and develop.

• An interest in a role that combines technology, configuration, troubleshooting and customer interaction rather than pure software development.

Bonus points for:

• Previous experience in customer service or another customer-facing role.

• Experience troubleshooting and solving problems in collaboration with customers.

• Familiarity with Jira.
