RPS Softwares AB in Sweden seeks an experienced System Architect specializing in Android Automotive to lead root-cause investigations, re-architecture, and key technical decisions across Bluetooth connectivity, media, audio, CarPlay and Android Auto.

You will guide development, address gaps in requirements, testing and diagnostics, and collaborate with teams and partners to deliver high-quality solutions with strong communication and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
• 10+ years of Android Automotive experience.
• Experience with protocol-level sniffing and fault tracing for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet.
• Ability to trace faults across multiple layers: app, framework, native, vendor, firmware, hardware, vehicle integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause investigations and drive re-architecture and technical decisions across Bluetooth, media, audio, CarPlay, and Android Auto.
• Trace faults through the application, framework, native, vendor, firmware, hardware, and vehicle-integration layers with focus on root causes.
• Examine existing architecture and recommend pragmatic re-architecture as escalation point.
• Address gaps in requirements, testing, and diagnostics while guiding development teams.
• Align teams and external partners, delivering high-quality solutions; conduct code reviews.
• Give and receive constructive code reviews.
