Job summary

Sambla Group is expanding its Data Platform team and seeks an Analytics Engineer to design, build, and maintain the analytical foundation. You’ll work with SQL, dbt, semantic models, and cloud data warehouses to enable data-driven decision making and AI-enabled insights.

You will join a team of Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers, reporting to the Engineering Manager, focusing on scalable, trusted data products and well-documented data assets used across Sambla.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field.
• Several years of analytics engineering or data architecture experience.
• Expert SQL with optimization and advanced functions.
• Hands-on with dbt or equivalent frameworks and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT models using SQL, dbt, and Git workflows.
• Develop transformation layers turning raw data into trusted analytical assets.
• Own analytical models including dimensional models and semantic layers.
• Define standards for naming, docs, tests, and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to align source data with analytics needs.
• Implement data quality, tests, lineage, and governance across assets.
