Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Analytics Architect within the BST GI Analytics & Data Platform to shape data structures, models, and consumption across the GI business Data Platform.

You will design semantic layers and analytical frameworks enabling BI analysts and business teams to extract actionable insights, while aligning with global compliance and internal processes. This role partners with stakeholders and the platform team to drive scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise analytics architecture experience.
• Strong data modeling and semantic layer design.
• Experience with governance and KPI standardization.
• Familiarity with PPS/ITIL or gate-models.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytics requirements.

Responsibilities

• Define semantic layers, data marts and business-facing data models.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape analytics requirements.
• Ensure data governance and KPI standardization.
• Lead PoCs and evaluate analytics tools like Power BI, Fabric, Azure.
• Guide backend developers on data structure needs.
