Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting is seeking a Senior Amdocs Helix Administrator to design, implement, and sustain the Helix platform in a production environment. You will lead upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensure platform resiliency, and collaborate across vendor and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Senior Amdocs Helix Administrator with 5+ years of experience in application/platform administration and proven expertise in Amdocs Helix upgrades, migrations, and production support.
• Maintain platform stability, executing upgrades and patches, and supporting the platform in a production environment.
• Administer, maintain, and support the Amdocs Helix platform in a production environment.
• Lead and execute platform upgrades, patch installations, and version migrations with minimal service disruption.
• Perform system configuration, platform health monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex platform and integration issues.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to resolve incidents and maintain platform stability.
• Develop and maintain upgrade plans, implementation procedures, rollback strategies, and technical documentation.
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities related to the platform.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, operational efficiency, and support processes.
• Hands-on experience as an Amdocs Helix Administrator.
• Strong experience with Helix upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration, database concepts, and application support.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex platform and integration issues.
• Experience working in telecommunications environments.
• Knowledge of Shell/Python scripting and automation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
