Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group in Sweden seeks an AI Lead (Contract) to review ongoing AI initiatives, set governance, and design a unified roadmap.

The role requires deep enterprise experience, the ability to communicate with senior leaders, and to establish an AI Centre of Excellence, with initial 6-month engagement and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in large enterprise environments.
• Sufficient technical depth to be taken seriously by engineers.
• Confidence advising senior leaders on cost, risk and return.
• Experience defining direction where none exists yet.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review current AI work across corporate and engineering functions (GenAI, Copilot, RAG, tooling) and decide what to scale, merge or stop.
• Set up AI governance and FinOps practices so costs and risks are visible and controlled.
• Advise engineering teams on AI-assisted development and AI agent security.
• Build the AI roadmap and recommend an operating model and team structure.
• Establish and lead an AI Centre of Excellence.
• Work with senior stakeholders to tie AI spend to business outcomes.

The situation

A large international enterprise has AI projects running in several parts of the business, but no shared direction. There are GenAI pilots, Copilot rollouts, RAG solutions and various tools, all run separately. They need an experienced lead to review what exists, set the rules and build one roadmap.

What you’ll do

Review current AI work across corporate and engineering functions (GenAI, Copilot, RAG, tooling) and decide what to scale, merge or stop

Set up AI governance and FinOps practices so costs and risks are visible and controlled

Advise engineering teams on AI-assisted development and AI agent security

Build the AI roadmap and recommend an operating model and team structure

Establish and lead an AI Centre of Excellence

Work with senior stakeholders to tie AI spend to business outcomes

What you’ll need
