The Role – AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer With Backend Skills in our cross-functional team, you are part of our tech team based in Stockholm or Halmstad. You will be a part of building and developing the next generation investment platform. Your role involves close collaboration with fellow Software Engineers, as well as with Data Scientists, Product Designers and Product Managers.

Our Tech Team Lead will manage and support your work, while reporting directly to our VP of Engineering. A glimpse into our tech stack: Terraform, Kotlin, Python, SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and we host on AWS.

Your Mission

• Provide direction and strategic insight on data related topics.
• Develop and implement efficient data pipelines, seamless integrations, and reliable storage solutions to meet both operational demands and advanced analytics requirements.
• Design and deploy models with a focus on production readiness, ensuring smooth integration into our services.
• Build and maintain key platform features, APIs, and services, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and top-tier performance.
• Further Develop of Data Layer solution on snowflake

Additionally you will

• Drive ideas and develop concepts from a tech perspective.
• Contribute to improving the architecture, tech stack, and operational methods.
• Develop integrations with third-party APIs and tools.
• Follow and promote good engineering practices to deliver high-quality products.
• Engage in code reviews and foster a culture of continuous learning through constructive feedback.
• Be a positive force for our team culture

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You...

• 4+ years of professional team-based software development experience.
• Experience working with scalable, product-based environments.
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and ETL pipelines.
• Experience implementing data science workflows, including working with datasets, analytics tools, or machine learning models.
• Strong collaboration skills and an open-minded approach to exchanging ideas.
• Fluent in English and a team player who values diverse perspectives.
• Swedish citizen or valid EU work permits (we cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role).
