Job summary

Benifex Limited is building a world-class AI-augmented engineering culture. This is a practical, hands-on role that creates tooling, agents, and reusable practices enabling engineers to ship software faster with AI across the SDLC.

Working alongside the AI Architect, you will shape shared patterns and guardrails, scale AI adoption, and extend these practices beyond Product Engineering to other departments. Remote-first from the UK or hybrid from Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of shipping tools that engineers rely on.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Practical experience building value with AI and large language models.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools day to day.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains AI-enabled tooling for engineers across the SDLC.
• Collaborates with the AI Architect to shape patterns, guardrails and tools.
• Owns rollout and configuration of coding agents across the engineering toolchain.
• Evaluates new models and patterns and turns them into usable practices.
• Builds lightweight internal services and agents to reduce toil for teams.
• Partners with Engineering Directors to redesign parts of the SDLC around AI.
• Defines adoption metrics and tracks impact with measurable numbers.
• Incorporates responsible AI standards into the tools and workflows.
• Mentors engineers and influences tooling decisions across departments.
