Job summary

Voyado is seeking a skilled backend/AI engineer to help build an AI Product Discovery layer for Voyado Elevate. You will design and orchestrate intelligent agents that enhance search, interpret user intent, and create a new discovery interface.

The role blends backend development with AI engineering, prompt refinement, and architecture input. As part of a newly formed team, you’ll prototype ideas, optimize performance and costs, and shape the technical roadmap while collaborating with developers

Qualifications

Masters or equivalent career experience in CS or related field.
Strong backend development experience and production systems focus.
Hands-on with LLMs and AI APIs, prompt engineering, and agent design.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI agents for search and product discovery in Java and/or Python.
Work hands-on with prompt engineering and continuous optimization.
Map agent logic to our existing search infrastructure.
Optimize latency, scale, and cost-efficiency of AI-driven features.
Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term technical direction.
Write production-grade code and monitor performance in real environments.
Design and implement APIs.
