Job summary

Lovable seeks a Design Engineer to build the tooling that makes AI-native brand production scalable. You’ll craft front-end surfaces and AI-generation systems that empower the brand team while preserving taste.

You’ll own pipelines, versioning, and reliability, collaborating closely with a Brand Designer to scale decision-making and maintain brand coherence. You’ll continuously evaluate models and tools, integrating new generation capabilities and ensuring robust, scalable infrastructure across

Qualifications

• Solid engineering fundamentals: track record building, shipping, and maintaining real full-stack software.
• Strong interest in AI generation systems (image/video models, prompts) as a technical problem.
• Experience turning explorations into production-ready systems.
• Some design sensibility; able to judge on-brand output with others.
• Comfort building for new domains with no existing playbook.

Responsibilities

• Build front-end surfaces and AI-generation systems enabling brand at scale.
• Create internal apps for the brand team, ideally on Lovable platform.
• Own reliability and versioning for AI pipelines to prevent drift in output.
• Collaborate with Brand Designer to scale taste and direction.
• Evaluate new models and tooling; rebuild pipelines as needed.
