Job summary

Ericsson in Stockholm, Sweden seeks an Architect for the Data Foundation to define a governed, AI-ready data platform for RAN development. You will shape data products, semantic layers and knowledge graphs to power AI, ML and autonomous workflows.

You will lead governance, collaborate with security, and align architecture with business outcomes across Ericsson’s portfolio, driving scalable, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of modern data ecosystems including cloud data platforms, lakes/warehouses, streaming, data products and integration patterns.
• AI and analytics fluency enabling ML, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows.
• Strong grasp of data governance, cataloging, lineage, data quality, classification and access control at enterprise scale.
• Ability to bridge business and technology, translating strategy into architecture and communicating vision to engineers and executives.
• Systems-thinking mindset for architectural trade-offs and direction across teams.
• Curiosity for AI, autonomous systems and intelligent networks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of the AI Data Platform translating strategy into scalable design.
• Design for an AI-first future with data products, semantic layers, and knowledge representations.
• Embed governance, lineage, and data quality to ensure trust and reusability.
• Define source-agnostic frameworks from multiple data sources across the RAN lifecycle.
• Review delivery against architectural intent and maintain coherence as the platform scales.
• Engage stakeholders from engineering to leadership, articulating platform value to Ericsson portfolio.
