Overview

Basic Function The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring that maintenance and repair activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards. This role supports Jadeer Logistics Services Company’s objectives by maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and enhancing operational productivity.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate workshop activities, including repairs, maintenance, and servicing of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure all repair work meets technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Schedule and allocate tasks to technicians and workshop staff efficiently to meet operational deadlines.
  • Monitor workshop performance and productivity, providing regular updates to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Maintain workshop inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate procurement when necessary.
  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations and company policies within the workshop environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and safe to use.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians and junior staff.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as Terminal Handling and Transportation, to prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workshop operations.
  • Ensure workshop activities contribute to minimizing vehicle downtime and operational disruptions, supporting the company’s logistics service excellence.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and compliance with industry standards to protect employees and assets.
Education And Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field preferred.

Professional Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in workshop supervision or vehicle maintenance management.

Strong background in supervising technical teams and coordinating workshop activities.
