Job description
Responsibility
  • The team leader daily logistics operations within the plant, focusing on raw materials receipt and finished goods dispatch.
  • Manage and optimize storage solutions for raw materials and finished goods to ensure space utilization and inventory integrity.
  • Oversee inventory management processes including stock tracking, cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate shuttle operations between the warehouse and the plant to ensure timely and efficient material flow.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to align logistics activities with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, inventory accuracy, and transportation efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics activities to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Identify and resolve logistics issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all logistics operations.
  • Maintaining all system transactions on timely manner targeting 100% of stock accuracy
Working Conditions
  • This position requires regular presence on the plant floor and warehouse – 50% of times
  • This position requires to be present in plant with no working from home privilege
Qualification
  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment – at least 5 years working experience
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Arabic & English language Fluency
