What You’ll Do
  • AI & Automation Strategy: Define a 12–24 month roadmap for agentic AI, including prioritized workflows, business cases, and an experiment‑to‑production funnel
  • Agentic Systems: Architect multi‑agent systems (planning, tool use, retrieval, memory, monitoring) to automate end‑to‑end B2B processes (e.g., lead ops, customer service workflows, underwriting, ticket triage, finance operations)
  • ML/LLM Productization: Ship production AI features (LLM orchestration, RAG, fine‑tuning/LoRA, structured tool calling, function routing, evaluator loops) with defined reliability SLAs
  • < mage>Data Platform & MLOps: Own data quality, feature stores, model registries, CI/CD for models, online/offline evaluation, observability, and cost/performance governance
  • Risk, Governance & Safety: Establish guardrails for privacy, security, bias, model drift, safety, prompt injection, and compliance—including human‑in‑the‑loop systems where needed
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a 15+ person organization across Data & AI; elevate hiring standards, technical bar, and team culture
  • Partnerships & Vendors: Evaluate and negotiate with model providers, vector DBs, evaluation platforms, data vendors, and cloud partners; drive a hybrid build‑vs‑buy strategy
  • Metrics & ROI: Tie AI initiatives to revenue lift, margin expansion, and cycle‑time reduction; present measurable outcomes to executive leadership
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Partner with Product, Design, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Security to land AI features and enterprise deployments

  • 12+ years in Data/ML, including 5+ years leading managers and multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of agentic or tool‑using LLM systems (planning, tool invocation, evaluators, autonomous workflows)
