Reporting To

Head of Treasury & Investments

Job Purpose

Contribute to the Treasury Strategy and identify the capabilities needed to enable Treasury to achieve the National Champion objectives of being the #1 or #2 bank. This role requires strategic thinking, tactical planning, and analytics to define the strategic direction of Treasury, utilizing market research and MIS to monitor sales and business development performance.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership and oversight for the Treasury Strategy Support unit, ensuring the integrity of financial, sales, and analysis outputs.
  2. Develop business and marketing strategies, including revenue and profitability targets, KPIs, and capability requirements.
  3. Drive business development to increase Treasury revenues through sales analysis, customer segmentation, and cross-sell opportunities.
  4. Oversee market research activities and monitor sales and service performance, managing customer-focused metrics.
  5. Offer insights into product development and assist in preparing recommendations for ALCO/Board on new products and related issues.
  6. Monitor Treasury finance performance reports, participate in budgeting, and ensure reconciliation with Finance figures monthly.
Required Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of treasury and capital market products.
  • Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards.
  • Knowledge of market, credit, liquidity, operational, and compliance risk management.
  • Familiarity with SAMA and regulatory standards.
  • Strategic planning and forecasting skills.
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Understanding of bank operations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Finance and Business Administration, with additional certifications such as CA, CFA, etc.
  • Minimum 15 years in financial services, with at least 10 years in Treasury-related roles.
