Job summary

A major technology maintenance firm is seeking a Technician for Signalling in the Riyadh Region. Responsibilities include executing maintenance on signalling equipment, analyzing disruptions, and preparing tools for maintenance activities. Candidates should have vocational training in Electronics/Communications Systems, with 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance for System signalling Assets, preferably in railway/metro organizations.
  • Experience of working in large scale projects within Operations and Maintenance is an added advantage.

Overview

Technician, SIG, Signalling

Mission
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of signalling equipment in accordance with all relevant regulations, good industry practices and international benchmark.
  • Analyse disruptions in signalling equipment and accordingly execute preventive measures in collaboration with Shift Supervisor and external service providers. Inspect, analyse, and troubleshoot systems and equipment.
Profile
Key Responsibilities
  • Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance including repairing of the systems covered by the maintenance section in accordance with the instructions given by the superior personnel. Reading repair manuals and implementing safe work methodologies.
  • Conduct tasks according to work schedules and periodic (daily, weekly, monthly & yearly) inspection plans.
  • Preparation of tools and materials required for maintenance activities.
  • Preparation of failure documentation and submitting them to superiors through CMMS.
  • Monitoring commissioning, testing and trial operation activities of signalling equipment, reporting of recurring defects & disruptions to concerned Shift Supervisor / Engineer.
  • Monitor and Maintain signalling interface and integration with other disciplines.
  • Operation of special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Performing maintenance activities requiring work at height, on track, stations, and depots. Ensuring safety critical communication protocols are followed. Required safety rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Other related tasks assigned from superiors (Including those not stated above).
Qualifications

Experience
