Job summary

A leading maintenance services provider in Riyadh seeks a skilled maintenance technician to execute both preventive and corrective maintenance for railway depot workshop equipment. The ideal candidate will have vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics and 2-3 years experience in a similar role, including work with equipment like automatic train washes and lifting jacks. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience as an electrician, wireman, machinist, etc. is a plus.
  • Experience in metro railway depot workshop equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of workshop equipment.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance tasks based on schedules.
  • Monitor commissioning and report defects to supervisors.

Mission

Main Purpose

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of DWE in accordance with all relevant regulations, good industry practices and international benchmark.
  • Analyse disruptions in DWE and accordingly execute preventive measures in supervision of DWE Shift Supervisor
Key Responsibilities

Executing of preventive and corrective maintenance including repairing of the systems covered by the maintenance section in accordance with the instructions given by the superior personnel and in conformance with the applicable technical documentation

Conduct tasks according to work schedules and periodic (daily, weekly, monthly & yearly) inspection plans

Preparation of tools and materials required for maintenance activities

Preparation of failure documentation and submitting them to superiors through CMMS

Monitoring commissioning, testing and trial operation activities of DWE and reporting of recurring defects & disruptions to DWE Shift Supervisor / Engineer

Operation of special tools, equipment, measuring devices and maintenance vehicles required to perform maintenance and repair tasks

Supporting shift supervisor Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE) and system service in his tasks

Qualifications

Has a vocational training in Mechnical/Electrical/Electronics and minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Experience

Work experience as an electrician, wireman, machinist, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic, machine tool maintenance mechanic, welding or combustion engine specialist is an added advantage

Has experience of working in railway projects and preferably in the operation and maintenance organisation of metro railway depot workshop equipment such automatic train wash, underfloor wheel lathe, underfloor and mobile lifting jacks, overhead gantry cranes, diesel/battery rail cum road shunters, bogie test stand, wheel press, axle lathe etc. Quality service experience in metro depot workshop equipment field from the contractor/sub-contractor (OEM) side specially in automatic train wash plant, underfloor wheel lathe, underfloor and mobile lifting jacks etc. can also be considered;

Having experience in handling the operation and maintenance of Rolling Stock and Building Utilities is an added advantage.
