Job summary

A global online retailer is seeking a Team Lead for its Transportation team in Jeddah. In this role, you will define and execute transportation processes, hire and train a motivated workforce, and analyze data to identify and improve performance bottlenecks. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing, and a Bachelor's degree. Fluency in English is a must, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for its Transportation team.

Essential Functions
  • Define, build, and execute transportation processes from fulfillment centers to customers, leveraging the Sort Center network.
  • Hire, train, and build a highly motivated workforce for the SC teams, supporting operational requirements and maintaining high quality and productivity.
  • Coordinate with Finance, CS, FC, and Projects teams on matters related to SC operations.
  • Continuously improve SC processes, aiming for sustained performance standards and initiating quality enhancements, waste reduction, and elimination of unnecessary work.
  • Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
  • Implement formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen.
Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluency in English (spoken, written, and read).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience with Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
