Job summary

Secure Maximum Company is seeking a Systems Security Lead to design, implement, and operate cybersecurity controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, servers, endpoints and collaboration platforms. You will own Defender XDR capabilities, Purview data protection, and endpoint security baselines, while coordinating with cross-functional teams for incident remediation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, CS, or IT.
• Minimum 5 years in systems security with 3 years in Microsoft security administration.
• Experience securing Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, endpoints, identity, collaboration, and compliance platforms.
• Ability to lead technical activities, coordinate remediation, and communicate risks clearly to management.
• Internal cross-team collaboration across multiple disciplines and external vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations for systems managed by the Systems Team.
• Monitor security alerts, incidents, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows servers, and endpoints.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, endpoint, and applications teams during incidents and high-risk changes.
• Own and administer Defender XDR capabilities and Purview data protection controls.
• Administer endpoint security across Kaspersky and Defender, ensuring up-to-date policies and health.
• Monitor Entra ID security controls and support least privilege, zero trust, and access governance.
• Support security compliance, governance, and audit readiness per ISO 27001 and internal policies.
