JOB PURPOSE

Responsible to the Director of Depot Supply to provide day to day advice to RSAF Officers. The jobholder will advise, augment and assist in the planning, development, revision, evaluation and monitoring of Supply training and evaluation programmes.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Monitor training standards, policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented correctly at the RSAF bases.
  • Identify training needs and deficiencies within the RSAF training programmes and develop solutions.
  • Provide assistance to RSAF logistics projects as required.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
  • A minimum of 15 years of practical and progressive experience in Supply Training & Logistics Procedures.
  • Computer literate and an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
DESIRABLE
  • Experience working at RSAF Depot Supply, Bases and HQ.
RECRUITMENT
  • Have the capability to evaluate individuals by using interview techniques.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills with proficiency in writing letters.
  • Experienced in Team Leadership, delegation and team building skills for effective people management.
  • Must be a quick learner and be willing to learn new skills.
  • Must be a team player with supervisory skills and have willingness to share and train others.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels in both written and verbal format. capable networking skills used at all levels within an organization.
  • Must be able to work proactively on his own initiative. Posses managerial skills and be able to lead a Training team.
  • Have excellent man-management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Coordinating Supply related Training Programs/Activities.
  • Proficient in RSAF Supply Procedure Manual 67-1, Training Manuals 105-8,105-30A and 105-30B.
