Job summary

Foodics seeks a commercially minded, analytical finance leader to own the FP&A agenda. This Director/Head of FP&A will partner with the CFO/CEO to translate performance into decisions, improve forecast quality, and build a scalable AI-enabled FP&A function in a SaaS/FinTech business.

The role covers budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecasts, and governance of investments, with senior-executive exposure and opportunities to shape strategic growth across geographies and product lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in SaaS/FinTech
• 10-15+ years FP&A/finance with leadership responsibility
• CMA certification or CFA charter is mandatory
• Experience using Claude in day-to-day finance work
• Partner with senior executives and present to Exec Committee/Board
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; BI, SQL, planning tools and finance automation desirable

Responsibilities

• Own annual budgeting and long-range planning
• Lead rolling forecasts and reforecast cycles with full-year landing views
• Run monthly performance reviews across revenue, ARR, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, OPEX, cash flow, headcount and key metrics
• Translate results into executive insights and recommended actions
• Build driver-based financial models and scenarios to support decisions
• Partner with Commercial, Product, Technology, Operations and People teams
• Govern OPEX headcount, CAPEX and strategic investments with clear ownership
• Evaluate pricing, new products, expansion, partnerships and M&A with business cases
• Upgrade FP&A systems and automation to reduce manual processes
• Use Claude to accelerate performance analysis, scenario modelling and management commentary
• Analyze large datasets to identify drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
• Create repeatable AI workflows for recurring FP&A tasks and ad-hoc analyses
• Combine Claude with Excel/Sheets/BI/SQL/planning tools for outputs
• Define where AI should automate work and where human judgment remains essential
