Job summary

Capco is seeking a Security Architect to help clients design and deliver secure, resilient cloud environments. You will work across business, security, architecture, engineering, risk, and technology teams to embed security into cloud transformation programmes from the outset.

This role tackles complex security challenges in financial services, helping clients adopt cloud technologies confidently while maintaining governance and compliance with strong security controls.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cloud security architecture and cloud infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of IAM, encryption, network security, logging and monitoring.
• Experience across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of governance, regulatory requirements and security-by-design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design cloud security strategies and policies for organizational needs.
• Create secure architectures and patterns across public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Define and implement cloud security controls, guardrails, and architecture principles.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in cloud infrastructure and pipelines.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits and address vulnerabilities.
• Assess risks, identify control gaps, and provide pragmatic recommendations balancing security and business needs.
• Support secure cloud adoption and transformation with stakeholders.
