Job summary

Lucid Motors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Quality Engineer, ADAS, to lead all ADAS Quality Engineering activities at AMP2. You will collaborate with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Launch, and Field Quality to ensure quality from development through production.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive quality, ADAS experience, and strong data analysis. Expect a fast‑paced environment with cross‑functional impact and opportunities in a cutting‑edge program.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience (post‑graduation).
  • 5+ years in a greenfield OEM environment (required).
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar ADAS or senior quality engineering role (required).
  • Familiarity with ADAS standards and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of quality deliverables at each project milestone during the launch phase in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Lead quality test and validation follow‑up with Product Engineering to ensure requirements are met.
  • Review, validate, and support APQP/PPAP activities in partnership with Supplier Quality and Product Engineering.
  • Ensure part maturity and readiness to secure production line stability.
  • Monitor responsiveness with Incoming Quality and suppliers on non‑conforming or defective parts.
  • Define Incoming Quality Inspection requirements and support training for internal teams and third‑party resources.
  • Collect, track, and resolve Incoming Quality findings during launch to protect production continuity and address issues with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proactively identify supplier risks and lead mitigation actions in collaboration with Supplier Quality Development.
  • Drive problem‑solving activities with the Launch team; validate implementation and effectiveness of solutions through Gemba and ensure long‑term sustainability.
  • Lead containment and root‑cause resolution for internal quality issues identified through Pre‑Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Lucid Customer Product Audit findings.
  • Improve customer experience by leading 0MiS, 3MiS, 6MiS, and similar quality findings, including containment and corrective actions, in coordination with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing.
  • Ensure readiness and approvals for New Parts Introduction (NPI), including trials, parts change management, and PPAP approvals.
  • Monitor and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within PLM or equivalent systems.

As a Senior Quality Engineer, ADAS, you will lead all Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Quality Engineering activities at AMP2 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). You will thrive in a fast‑paced, highly complex manufacturing environment, working alongside a motivated, cross‑functional team supporting cutting‑edge vehicle programs.

In this role, you will partner across the full product lifecycle to proactively protect Lucid’s production lines from quality risks. You will collaborate closely with Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Launch, and Field Quality teams to ensure robust quality execution from development through launch and production.

You Will

You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Total Quality Management, or a related field

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence, motivate, and build alignment across cross‑functional teams and senior leadership
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment with multiple simultaneous priorities
  • Strong data analysis and visualization skills
  • Demonstrated capability to lead complex quality issues and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, with in‑depth knowledge of ADAS standards and specifications
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly/non‑exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
