Job summary

Aloula Aviation | الأولى للطيران is seeking a Captain to command assigned aircraft in accordance with operating manuals and company procedures. You will mentor First Officers, conduct pre-flight checks, manage flight clearances, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and customer care throughout each leg of the flight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts degree is required.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 9 years.
• Special Field Experience: 4000 hours flight time, of which 1000 hours as PIC.

Responsibilities

• Performs Captain duties in assigned airplane in compliance with Operating Manuals and duties by Chief Pilot or Fleet Captain.
• Responsible for complete knowledge of operating procedures in assigned airplane.
• Performs standby duty as assigned.
• Conducts interior and pre-flight inspections to ensure air-worthiness, including aircraft log, engine time, and maintenance work performed.
• Mentors new First Officer to help them improve and develop their skills.
• Checks manifests and documents, ensures passengers are accounted for and cargo loaded and secured.
• Obtains flight clearance and clears with Customs and Immigration.
• Checks weather reports to ensure safe conditions for the route and cancels flight if conditions are unsafe.
• Pilots the aircraft in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
• Provides technical supervision to First Officers to ensure proper performance of procedures.
• Ensures safety and comfort of passengers and compliance with regulations.
• Completes all assigned courses and clears through Customs & Immigration.
• Adheres to cyber security policies for safe handling of information and data security.

Job description

Basic Function:

Performs Captain duties in assigned airplane in compliance with Operating Manuals and other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot or Fleet Captain.

Responsible for complete knowledge of operating procedures in assigned airplane.

Performs as assigned standby duty.

Conducts interior and pre-flight inspections to ensure aircraft air-worthiness, to include aircraft log, time on engines, time on aircraft and maintenance work performed.

Mentors new First Officer in their assigned airplane to help them improve and develop their skills.

Checks personally, or with the First Officer, to ensure all manifests and documents are properly completed, passengers are accounted for and cargo is loaded and secured for the flight. Obtains flight clearance and clears with Customs and Immigration officials.

Checks weather reports and ensures safe weather conditions for the route, cancelling flight if safe conditions do not exist.

Pilots the aircraft in accordance with established and well recognized airman procedures and applicable Rules and Regulations

Provides technical supervision to First Officers to ensure functions are performed in accordance with established procedures.

Checks the safety and comfort of the passengers and ensures that the aircraft is being operated in compliance with established rules and regulations.

Completes all assigned courses as required by the company and Training Unit or Fleet Captain.

Clears through Customs & Immigration and secures the aircraft.

Adheres to company cyber security policies, ensuring safe handling of information, protection of systems, and compliance with data security standards.
