Job Title: Senior Actuarial Analyst

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Western Province)

About the Role

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst within Aon’s Health Solutions team in our Jeddah office in the Western Province, you will leverage your actuarial expertise and industry experience to deliver advanced analytical support and strategic recommendations to our clients. In this role, you will proactively evaluate complex benefit plan data, refine cost projections, and contribute to client-focused solutions while working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze claims data, plan demographics, and utilization to identify trends and drive actionable client insights.
  • Develop and refine actuarial models for claim projection and rate setting.
  • Provide market benchmarks for medical benefits schemes and assess the impact of product changes.
  • Support client renewals by reviewing carrier quotes, underwriting assumptions, and summarizing cost drivers for client presentations.
  • Contribute to strategic recommendations, such as plan design changes, cost containment strategies, and wellness initiatives.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings to clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with carriers to negotiate favorable terms and communicate actuarial advice.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and industry trends impacting health insurance plans and rating methodologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of actuarial experience, preferably within health insurance or employee benefits brokerage/consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and data analytics; experience with VBA, SQL, or Power BI is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to explain technical data to non-actuarial audiences.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to handle multiple client deliverables under tight deadlines.
