Job summary

Almosafer is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications, APIs, and automation services in Riyadh. You will build automation workflows and contribute to the in-house automation platform, delivering reliable, secure solutions for production use.

The role involves integrating Generative AI/LLMs, working with prompts, function calls, and structured outputs to enhance business workflows and enterprise integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering with Python development.
• Production-grade Python applications and services.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Experience with Generative AI/LLMs and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable Python-based applications APIs and automation services
• Build and maintain automation workflows to support business and operational processes
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the in-house automation platform
• Develop and integrate AI LLM capabilities and intelligent agents into business workflows
• Work with LLM APIs prompt engineering function tool calling and structured outputs
• Design and maintain integrations with databases APIs message brokers and enterprise systems
• Ensure automation solutions are reliable scalable secure and production-ready
• Monitor troubleshoot and resolve production issues across automation services and workflows
• Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements for the automation platform
• Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies and identify opportunities for business improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with strong hands-on Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade applications and services.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar Python frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar relational/NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI/LLM technologies and integrating LLMs into applications.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, function/tool calling, structured outputs, and AI agents.
• Experience modernizing or migrating RPA workflows using Python, APIs, or AI is a plus.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and software engineering skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject; experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams is preferred.
