Job summary

Mozn is seeking a Software Engineering Team Lead to manage and enhance transaction monitoring modules. You will steward a clean codebase, drive an evolving roadmap to meet clients' needs, and lead a team of engineers to high standards and continuous improvement.

You will own scalable services, collaborate with product managers, and contribute to architectural evolution, ensuring robust and efficient systems for our financial crime prevention platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership/mentoring.
• Expertise in Domain-Driven Design and microservices architecture; strong design-pattern knowledge.
• Detail-oriented communicator who works autonomously in a fast-moving team.

• Guide and mentor an exceptional team of engineers, shaping their careers and keeping the team cohesive.

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to join our organization. In this role, you will be in charge of maintaining and enhancing our transaction monitoring modules. Your responsibilities span three key areas: stewardship of a clean, healthy codebase (including fostering a fast, painless development process); delivery of an evolving roadmap to meet clients\' needs; and leadership of a team of engineers, holding to the highest standards and continually improving the team through hiring and mentoring. You\'ll own systems that sit on the critical path of how our clients catch financial crime.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field


• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including some experience leading or mentoring engineers


• Proficiency in building complex, high-quality applications, with strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and microservice architecture


• Demonstrate expertise in selecting design patterns and principles when developing software architecture


• A detail-oriented communicator who works well autonomously and thrives in a fast-moving team
