Job summary

Opus is seeking a PHP Back-End Developer to design, implement, and maintain server-side systems and databases in Riyadh. The role focuses on building robust RESTful APIs, integrating with external services, and ensuring security and scalability of applications.

You will collaborate with front-end teams to deliver cohesive solutions, write clean, maintainable code, and participate in testing and documentation to support ongoing improvements and feature development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of back-end development with PHP.
• Proficiency in PHP; Laravel experience preferred.
• Experience with MySQL and database design.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of HTTP protocols and REST APIs.
• Understanding of application security and data protection.

Job Objective:

Develop and program systems and applications on the server side (Back-End), design databases and application programming interfaces (APIs), and ensure system efficiency, security, and stability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and program systems and applications using the PHP language.

Build and develop application programming interfaces (RESTful APIs).

Design and manage databases using MySQL.

Develop and improve the performance of servers and software systems.

Integrate with external systems and services.

Handle programming errors and analyze technical issues.
