Job Description: Software Business Analyst
Location: AlUla, Saudi Arabia
Role Objective
The Technical Lead / Senior Product Owner will serve as the primary strategic and technical bridge between business stakeholders and the development teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming business visions into high-quality software solutions, ensuring technical feasibility, and managing the product lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Lead the gathering and elicitation of business requirements, converting them into comprehensive technical documentation (BRD, SRS, CR, and User Stories).
- Product Ownership: Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, ensuring that development sprints align with business goals and delivery timelines.
- Technical Liaison: Act as the main communication channel between non-technical stakeholders and developers, simplifying complex technical concepts for better alignment.
- System Design & UI/UX: Create UML diagrams, system architecture flows, and high-fidelity wireframes to guide the development and design teams.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel) to monitor user behavior and system performance, providing actionable insights for product optimization.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Oversee end-to-end testing processes, including API testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), to ensure a 95%+ compliance rate with requirements.
- Agile Transformation: Implement and facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring the team remains efficient and project turnaround times are minimized.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably within the Saudi market.
- Technical Skills:
- Management Tools: Expert in Jira, Trello, and TFS.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and API structures.
- Visualization: Expert in Microsoft Visio and Wireframing tools.
- Analytics: Advanced skills in Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional team coordination.
- Fluency in Arabic (Native) and English (Professional/Conversational).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
