Job summary

GRADE is a leading provider of industrial heating and refrigeration systems. We invite a Site Supervisor Electrical to join our Operations department and report to the Operations Manager while administratively to the Country General Manager.

The role focuses on CAD design, supervision of electrical teams, and ensuring safety and code compliance on site. The successful candidate will supervise electricians, interpret schematics, troubleshoot major faults, and ensure timely, safe project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role in refrigeration, HVAC, or similar industrial systems.
• Ability to read approved-for-construction drawings.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with installation, repair and maintenance of electrical system equipment and components.

Responsibilities

• CAD design, modify and update detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for industrial refrigeration systems including piping, equipment layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Supervise electrical artisans, semi-skilled workers, assistants, and general workers on site.
• Comply with safety instructions, company policies, and SOPs.
• Read and interpret design schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems; troubleshoot major failures.
• Inspect and test on-site activities and ensure documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Your tasks

Your tasks CAD design amp drafting Create modify and update detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for industrial refrigeration systems including piping equipment layouts and electrical schematics Supervise electrical artisans semi-skilled workers assistants and general workers trade helpers in the repair maintenance and installation of electrical systems Comply with all special safety instructions issued by GRADE and adhere to all company policies standard procedures and standard operating procedures Comply with all client requirements legislation and regulations Design and implement work schedules for electrical staff providing motivation and support as needed Inspect and assess work carried out by electrical staff Read and interpret design schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems Troubleshoot major system failures and equipment malfunctions Repair and maintain electrical equipment Oversee the maintenance of electrical equipment on site Ensure work is completed on time in line with schedules codes designs and standards Maintain a safe and clean work environment Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrical systems Conduct incoming in-process and final inspections and testing for on-site activities in accordance with inspection and test plans checklists and safe work method statements ensuring results are recorded Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current codes standards operation and maintenance manuals specifications and drawings Ensure all processes are executed by qualified tradespeople in accordance with approved procedures and safe work method statements Exposure to industrial environments including electrical work heights and moving equipment Requires mobility ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 25 kg

Your profile

Your profile Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in refrigeration, HVAC, or similar industrial systems Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in the electrical trade Qualified electrician with the ability to read approved-for-construction drawings Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations Understanding of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques Knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems Skilled in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical system equipment and components Ability to estimate time and material requirements for assigned projects Strong leadership and supervisory skills Effective communication skills Familiarity with electrical and safety codes Advanced troubleshooting capability Basic computer skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
