Job summary

A leading drilling services company in Saudi Arabia seeks a Crew Manager to develop and manage crew plans across multiple rigs. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience and strong exposure to crew structures and rotations. You will be responsible for ensuring crew coverage, coordinating mobilizations, and aligning crew deployment with QHSE standards. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is preferred. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage short-term and long-term crew plans for all rigs in line with operational schedules and contract requirements.
  • Ensure full crew coverage for all positions
  • Coordinate crew mobilization, demobilization, and back-to-back replacements to avoid downtime.
  • Maintain accurate rotation planning (e.g., 28/28, 35/35) and ensure compliance with approved rotation schedules.
  • Act as the single point of contact for rig management on crew availability, shortages, and replacements.
  • Coordinate with HR Operations for onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Liaise with Training & Competency teams to align crew deployment with certification, competency gaps, and development plans.
  • Work closely with QHSE to ensure only compliant and medically fit personnel are mobilized.
  • Support Saudization objectives by prioritizing Saudi crew deployment where qualified and available.
  • Track and report Saudi vs. non‑Saudi crew mix across rigs.
  • Coordinate progression plans (CAMS) to ensure a sustainable Saudi talent pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew data.
  • Highlight risks related to crew shortages, fatigue, compliance, or cost overruns and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Optimize crew deployment to minimize idle time, overtime, and unnecessary mobilization costs.
  • Support Operations and Finance with manpower forecasts and cost impact analysis.

Education and Certifications -
