Job summary

Kaffu Salla is hiring a Senior Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to own and secure a production system. You will refactor legacy code, build backend in TS/Node.js with NestJS/Express, and frontend in React/Next.js, while enforcing RBAC and secrets management. Expect testing, migrations, and reliability work in a security‑conscious environment.

You will protect data, implement secure auth, and collaborate across teams to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS or Express and React/Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and secure DB design.
• Experience building secure APIs, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an existing production system and improve without full rewrites.
• Develop backend in TypeScript/Node.js and frontend in React/Next.js.
• Secure API keys, credentials, and secrets; rotate compromised keys.
• Implement granular RBAC and enforce backend authorization.
• Design and migrate PostgreSQL databases with zero-downtime migrations.
• Write integration and end-to-end tests; ensure regression-free changes.
