Job summary

Jodayn in Riyadh region is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to design robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions aligned with business goals and enterprise standards.

You will translate requirements into end-to-end architectures, define integration patterns, data flows, cloud and security controls, and guide delivery across teams. The role requires leadership with stakeholders and vendors, plus governance and modernization efforts in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience in solution design, software engineering, or related domains.
• At least 5 years in solution architecture or senior architect role.
• Experience designing complex enterprise solutions with multiple applications, systems, platforms, and integration points.
• Experience on large-scale transformation, digital, modernization programs.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into end-to-end solution architectures.
• Define integration requirements, interfaces, APIs, messaging patterns, and dependencies between enterprise systems.
• Assess solution options and recommend architecture approaches based on business value, feasibility, scalability, security, interoperability, and total cost of ownership.
• Embed cybersecurity, privacy, identity, access control, and compliance requirements into the solution architecture.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, domain architects, business teams, project managers, developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and vendors.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle from concept and design through implementation and transition.
• Support modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, application modernization, API enablement, integration transformation, and legacy replacement.
• Contribute to architecture governance forums and Architecture Review Boards.

Job description

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for designing robust, scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions that translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end architecture. The role ensures that proposed solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture principles, standards, security requirements, integration patterns, data requirements, technology direction, and operational needs.

• Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into end-to-end solution architectures.
• Develop high-level solution designs covering applications, integration, data, infrastructure, cloud, security, and deployment architecture.
• Ensure proposed solutions comply with enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and technology strategies.
• Assess solution options and recommend architecture approaches based on business value, feasibility, scalability, security, interoperability, and total cost of ownership.
• Define integration requirements, interfaces, APIs, messaging patterns, and dependencies between enterprise systems.
• Identify solution-level data requirements, information flows, data ownership dependencies, and integration with enterprise data platforms.
• Define infrastructure, hosting, cloud, network, resilience, availability, and disaster recovery architecture requirements.
• Embed cybersecurity, privacy, identity, access control, and compliance requirements into the solution architecture.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical design assurance, and solution compliance assessments.
• Identify technical risks, architectural constraints, dependencies, assumptions, and mitigation actions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, domain architects, business teams, project managers, developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and vendors.
• Support technology selection, vendor evaluation, RFP development, proposal assessment, and solution demonstrations.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the solution lifecycle from concept and design through implementation and transition.
• Support modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, application modernization, API enablement, integration transformation, and legacy replacement.
• Contribute to architecture governance forums and Architecture Review Boards.

Required Experience

• Minimum 10 years of overall experience in information technology, solution design, software engineering, infrastructure, integration, cloud, or related technical domains.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in solution architecture or a comparable senior architecture role.
• Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise solutions involving multiple applications, systems, platforms, and integration points.
• Experience working on large-scale transformation, digital, modernization, or enterprise technology programs.
• Strong exposure to both current-state assessment and target-state solution architecture.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders in complex organizations.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• TOGAF certification is highly desirable.
• Cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable.
• ArchiMate, security, integration, software architecture, or relevant technology certifications are advantageous.
