Job summary

Carrier in Jeddah is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - MEP to drive sales of HVAC solutions, develop enquiries, and guide quotations to secure projects. You will review technical and commercial aspects, maintain relationships with end-users, consultants and contractors, and coordinate with service teams to ensure timely delivery and payment collection.

The role requires at least 5 years in HVAC solutions sales, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in HVAC Solutions sales, MEP, high tech. or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proven flair in selling HVAC Solutions, MEP, high tech. or related field.
• Should have good command of written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales booking, invoicing and margin target.
• Generate new enquiries & customers.
• Review enquiries and guide application team in making quotations & submittals.
• Responsible for review of quotations before submission to customers
• Follow up submittals & approvals.
• Familiarity with the industry trends and competition.
• Strong product knowledge of Chillers, Airside & overall HVAC solutions
• Responsible for sustaining strong relationships & contacts with end-users, consultants and contractors in order to generate business.
• Negotiation of contractual/commercial terms.
• Follow up with existing projects and coordinate with Service.
• Products Leadtime and Delivery to customer follow up
• Payment collection and BG's follow up.
• Inputting projects data and prepare reports for the management.
• Bring critical customer requirements back into the development, production, and marketing processes.
• Responsible for review of contracts received to check whether the requirements have been clearly and adequately defined and to ensure that requirements for an order received by verbal means are agreed before acceptance.
• Responsible for assessing the capability to meet contract requirements and resolving discrepancies (if any) in the contract and maintaining records for the same.
• Responsible for finalizing changes in the contract if required, communicating the contract details as well as amendments (if any) to the relevant persons and maintenance of contract review records and list of approved dealers/contractors.
• Responsible for verification and control of relevant technical and commercial information provided in the purchase orders on receipt of acknowledgment from the factory as and where applicable.
