Job summary

Client of Hudson Manpower in UAE is seeking an experienced Safety EHS Engineer for OHTL projects on-site. The role requires strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, and NEBOSH certification.

You will lead inductions, develop HSE plans, conduct site inspections, and ensure Permit to Work compliance. 5–10 years of EHS experience in construction and electrical infrastructure, plus fluency in English, are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in construction and electrical infrastructure.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• NEBOSH Certification mandatory.
• 5–10 years of proven EHS experience.
• Experience in OHTL projects (Above 220 kV).
• Valid passport with minimum 9 months validity.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Develop, implement and monitor HSE and welfare plans.
• Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, WMS and risk assessments.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance.
