Job summary

Aramco seeks a senior reservoir engineer to design depletion strategies and field development plans for unconventional resource plays. You will study reservoir performance data and supervise surveillance programs to optimize field performance.

You will lead fracture modeling, well spacing optimization, and multi-disciplinary reviews, while monitoring expenses and providing economic evaluations to support development decisions.

Qualifications

• Petroleum Engineering degree from a recognized program; advanced degree preferred.
• 10–20 years of experience with at least 5 years in unconventional plays, with international experience.
• Knowledge of stimulation programs design, logging, decline curve analysis and reservoir modeling.
• Ability to support key development decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with analytics and AI is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement depletion strategies and field development plans for unconventional resource plays.
• Study reservoir and well performance data and develop surveillance programs and reservoir management activities.
• Supervise fracture modeling and optimize well spacing and completions in unconventional reservoirs.
• Organize and lead multi-functional peer reviews to support field development design.
• Monitor operating expenses to optimize production and costs.
• Prepare annual activity volumes and expenses for budgeting purposes.
• Monitor and analyze well tests and production curves.
• Provide economic evaluation to support rapid development decisions.
• Coach and mentor team members to grow technically and perform effectively.
