Job summary

Salla is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to own end-to-end quality for releases. You will lead testing strategy, balance manual and automated approaches, and build Playwright automation that runs in CI. You will review changes, triage defects, and mentor peers to raise the team’s quality mindset and prevent regressions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing across web, mobile and API surfaces, applying AI-assisted workflows where appropriate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience with ownership of releases.
• Strong JS/TS skills for Playwright automation.
• Experience with Playwright or similar framework.
• Git and CI pipelines knowledge.
• Understanding of testing types and design.
• Ability to adapt processes and mentor others.
• Experience testing web, mobile and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine QA approach, standards and metrics.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing on new features.
• Build and maintain Playwright automation in CI.
• Review code and PRs, push back when needed.
• Triage defects and investigate root causes.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor other QA engineers and raise quality mindset.
• Consider feature scalability and AI-assisted workflows.
