Job summary

tamemit is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (BA1) to drive product vision and backlog management. You will align developers and stakeholders around a clear roadmap and own the backlog as the single source of truth, prioritizing by value and risk to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities include refining user stories, facilitating Scrum events, and ensuring increments meet acceptance criteria. Strong communication with clients, executives, and marketing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or any relevant university.
• 5 years of experience.
• Ability to create and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy.
• Expertise in prioritizing, refining, and maintaining the Product Backlog.
• Ability to use data, metrics, and user feedback to inform priorities and validate ideas.

Responsibilities

• Create, articulate, and communicate a clear and compelling long-term vision for the product.
• Ensure the entire team (developers, stakeholders) understands and is aligned with this vision.
• Own the Product Backlog as the single source of truth for all work.
• Order backlog items by value, risk, and dependencies to achieve goals efficiently.
• Clarify backlog items with the team to ensure readiness for upcoming sprints.
• Make tactical decisions about what features to build and what not to build.
• Ensure each increment delivers maximum value to customers and the business.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders (clients, users, executives, marketing).
• Gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate progress and trade-offs clearly.
• Clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria for user stories.
• actively participate in Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Validate work against acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Officially accept or reject sprint increments.
• Review product increment with stakeholders at Sprint Review and gather feedback.
• Use feedback and data to adapt the Product Backlog and future strategy.
